Methamphetamine continues to be of great concern across the United States.  People of all ages need accurate, age-appropriate, information about meth as well as skills to help them make healthy choices about the use of drugs.

Life or Meth: What’s the Cost? was created for youth in grades 5 and 6 in mind, but the information is good for all ages.  This interactive program provides not only information about methamphetamine, but decision- making and assertiveness as well.  The delivery system is completely computer-based, making it more appealing to youth who have grown up with technology at their fingertips.  Lessons consist of animation with synchronized audio, imbedded videotape, interactive quizzes, and a game board with an animated game piece.  Additionally, each lesson has controls that allow you to pause and play, go forward, or reverse.  The forward and reverse controls will take you to pre-set points within each lesson, and allow to review a specific element, or to move more quickly towards the end of the lesson.

While Life or Meth: What’s the Cost? is not difficult to operate, it does have some system requirements to run properly.  If you would like to continue, please go to the next page for system requirements and operating instructions.

You might first want to change the “display” setting for your monitor. This will allow you to clearly see the entire Life or Meth page.

Changing the Display Setting

When you are finished with Life or Meth you can reset your computer to its original setting (typically 800 x 600 pixels).
